This is the letter pressed type I created for my film Pig which was set to the song Hurt by Nine Inch Nails as performed by Johnny Cash. During a previous attempt at letter press I accidentally discovered that by putting way too much ink on your letters and far too much news print under your roller you can create the sort of grungy smudged type you see below.
